Sea Monkeys were discovered and first sold by Harold von Braunhut in 1957 as “Instant Life”. Braunhut also invented other wierd toys like the popular “X Ray Glasses” of the 1950’s. Some say Sea Monkeys are alien to earth, but scientists say they are actually a varient of brine shrimp that are in cryptobiosis or suspended animation!
