the yesteryear kid –
note the phrase in the listing for this toy ‘RAW and PRIMITIVE’ in the description for this toy. thats what it is, and thats not bad at all. the paint job is very nice with a real feel of of the time. the motor works good and it runs along fine. some sharp edges so be careful if the lil ones are handling it. the windows are cutouts and the doors on opposing corners are open. the interior is open and devoid of any detail and the whole thing has a very ‘hand made’ feel (hence the ‘raw and primitive’) one detail i really like is the ‘conductor pole’ on top which turns and is spring loaded just like the real ones had to maintain contact with the power lines above. yes, it is a bit on the primitive side. but its a very nice lil blast from the past rolling along with lots of history.
