He is operated with a button on his wired remote that contains 2 D-Cell batteries. The secret to his smoking is a talc powder container accessed under the hinged door on his head. With his beautiful lithography Lantern Robot is an exact reproduction of the famous 1955 Japanese Robot by Masudaya. He comes in a reproduction of the original box.
